The Role
We're on the hunt for a talented UX/UI design expert to join our dynamic team based in London. We are looking for a highly creative and self-motivated designer who can drive innovation in the way we consume energy at home through smart AI-enabled automation. As a key member of the product development team, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and shaping the launch of our flagship product, the Tewke Tap.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating within the Product team, your role will involve crafting and executing visually stunning, interactive designs and high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Conduct comprehensive research to grasp user needs and preferences via surveys, interviews, and rigorous usability testing.
- As part of the product launch preparations, you'll collaborate closely with the front-end development team to co-design and implement essential features, ensuring the successful delivery of the final product.
- Conduct user testing to assess and enhance designs, while maintaining active communication with customers to grasp their business objectives.
- Collaborate across platforms and company communications to ensure the successful delivery of a unified and coherent message. This encompasses websites, social platforms, print materials, etc.
Who we are looking for
- 3+ years UX design experience
- Proven track record in creating exceptional user experiences in Mobile App Design
- User-Centered Design approach to craft digital products and experiences prioritising user needs.
- Extensive teamwork, partnering with product designers to define requirements and collaborating directly with developers for design implementation
- Portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving skills
- Versatility across diverse product types and multidisciplinary design fields
- Excellent prioritisation and personal management skills
- Strong initiative and quick learning abilities
- Proficient in various design tools including Figma or Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Expertise in creating and contributing to the development of Design Systems and UI kits
- Proficient in spoken and written English at a professional level
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, Flutter, etc.
Furthermore, we value
- Experience in crafting polished motion graphics and animations (After Effects)
- Experience writing CSS, HTML and JS
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) specifically WordPress
- Understanding of SEO principles and techniques to enhance website visibility and rankings
- Experience in working on social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Previous experience in a User Research (UXR) role or familiarity with user research methodologies
