Headquartered in London, Tewke is developing technologies that can save energy in any home, whilst elevating the home living experience by making true home automation accessible.
Job Description
Depending on what you apply for, you will be working within different teams at Tewke, but everyone will still be working towards the same goal; to deliver the best customer experience possible to people whilst delivering the next generation of energy saving and home automation devices.
Software developer: At Tewke, we have developed everything ourselves, from our patented electronics that make Tap, our touch screen lightswitch work, to the operation system that sits on Tap. This means we are constantly on the lookout for embedded software engineers, frontend Flutter engineers and cloud engineers. What will set the most promising applicants apart will be people who are focused on delivering shippable software that can scale easily and has large levels of redundancy.
Hardware engineer: Tewke has designed and built all its products in house. We have an advanced prototyping lab with advanced 3D printers, a 5 axis CNC milling machine and precision manufacturing tools. We are looking for an intern who can help develop the plastic casings and designs for our next generation of products. The most promising candidates will demonstrate an ability to look at a product holistically, from how it integrates with the rest of the Tewke brand and product line, to the fine details of how the tooling will be manufactured and the device assembled.
Marketing: The Tewke brand separates Tewke from other companies by being innovative, and premium. Whilst Tewke delivers industry leading products with multiple features, distilling these down to the essence and selling Tewke can at times be challenging. The most promising candidates will have experience working for B2C brands in social media and driving sales and increasing brand awareness. No further education experience is required for this role.
